Tangier Morocco Travel Postcard

Tangier Morocco Travel Postcard

At the northern tip of Morocco, Tangier sits where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, only a few miles from Spain. This gateway city blends Hispano‑Moorish architecture with European squares and white colonial‑era buildings. The medina’s twisting alleys brim with artisan workshops, market stalls and cafés serving mint tea, while the waterfront has undergone major regeneration with a new marina and palm‑lined boulevards. Beaches such as Playa Blanca and the city’s original golf course, established in 1914, offer sunbathing and sports. Writers of the Beat generation once made Tangier their haunt, lending the city a bohemian mystique. Beyond the bustle, the surrounding countryside reveals Northern Morocco’s quieter charms. The Bay of Tangier arcs between the port and Cap Malabata; the Perdicaris Forest offers botanical trails overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar. Cap Spartel lies at the north‑western tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Mediterranean collide, and nearby the Caves of Hercules open to the sea, their entrance resembling the outline of Africa. The Church of Saint Andrew, a Moorish‑style Anglican church, and art galleries showcase Tangier’s eclectic cultural influences. Despite recent hotel openings, many beaches and hiking trails remain uncrowded, allowing visitors to experience the region’s natural beauty and cross‑cultural history without the crowds found in Marrakech or Fez.

I had never seen these classic science fiction images and most of my friends have not seen them either. They are like little treasures! Amazing quality and fun to send people!

I joined Postcrossing a few months ago and wanted postcards to represent my state well. I found them on Zazzle. I purchased numerous cards and was impressed with all of them. Excellent! The colors are beautiful. The cards have the exact look I wanted. I couldn't be happier.
