Cut out the graduation cap, then cut out the 2 attachments on the back. on the cap attachment, cut away every other "v" notch, from the center out, fold the "v" notches and fold them back underneath. Cut out the strip, start from the center and attach the strip to the bottom of the "v" notches. Then attach both combined attachments to the back of the graduation cap, centered so that it doesn't show on the front, then tape or glue / attach to the plastic headband and wear!
