King Philippe IV of France was also know as "Philippe the Fair" due to his good looks. He suppressed the Knights Templar in France, and was "cursed" by the Grand Master, who was executed publicly. Within 12 months Philippe was dead at the relatively young age of 46, after suffering a stroke while out hunting.
