Tennyson "Lady of Shalott" Victorian Art Tote Bag
Tote Bag: "The Lady of Shalott" (Lord Tennyson), vintage art and historical poetry with a modern twist. The cursed Lady of Shalott mourns her tragic fate in this lovely Victorian illustration of 1846 by Daniel Maclise and H. Robinson. The original black-and-white engraving is in the public domain, and I've remixed it with a modern twist by digitally hand-coloring it. To complement the enchanting imagery, I've incorporated a quotation from the beautiful 1842 poem The Lady of Shalott by Alfred, Lord Tennyson: "'I am half-sick of shadows,' said the Lady of Shalott." This pretty tote bag is perfect for the 21st-century lover of 19th-century art and poetry.

The minute I spotted this item I knew I HAD to order these for my daughter's wedding for the Hotel Goodie Bags since the wedding was held at a vineyard. The quality is great and they were a little bigger than I expected but worked out and will be useful to the recipients to tote their books, papers, lunch etc for future use. The picture shows what we put inside to welcome our hotel guests. I was very satisfied with the printing on the tote and I liked I was able to choose the font and size for the bag.
