The Adoration of the Magi by Edward Burne-Jones Snow Globe

This image was derived from the vintage 1905 "The Adoration of the Magi", a Morris & Co. tapestry depicting the story in Christianity of the Three Kings who were guided to the birthplace of Jesus by the star of Bethlehem. It was designed by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones, a British artist and designer closely associated with the later phase of the Pre-Raphaelite movement and worked closely with William Morris on a wide range of decorative arts as a founding partner in Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co. He also designed the woodcuts for the Kelmscott Press's Chaucer in 1896.
