The Beast of Whiskey Bay White T-Shirt
This is an exploration of a theme I'm currently working on in my new Southern Gothic series; working contemporary events and old ballads, folk songs, and folk tales into my work. This one explores the legends of the rougarou or loup garou, and the propensity of modern serial killers to visit Whiskey Bay, an isolated exit off I 10 that has seen more than it's fair share of evidence or body dumping since I have lived in Louisiana. In the rougarou stories I see parallels to modern serial killers, the beasts who only pretend to men. All rights held by the artist, Herb Roe © 2020.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
