Enzymes contained in the lysosome chew through biomolecules so they can be recycled. The nucleus of the cell is the master "command center." It contains most of the DNA and controls almost all the activities of the cell by regulating gene expression. Nuclear DNA is transcribed into RNAs, which are translated into amino acids with the help of ribosomes and assembled into proteins!
