The Chicago Arena Company Ice Skating Rink Coffee Mug
The old Chicago Riding Club at 333 E. Erie Street in Chicago was made into an ice rink in 1917, and it was renamed the Chicago Arena Company. It was the largest ice rink in the world at 115x295 feet in area. In 1937 the first U.S. Figure Skating Championships were held at the Arena. The Chicago Arena was sold in 1954.
