The Coelacanth Hold Us Tank Top
The coelacanth, Latimeria chalumnae, is a lobe-finned fish (sarcopterygii) once thought to have gone extinct in the Late Cretaceous, only to be rediscovered by a science in 1938. A second species, Latimeria menadoensis, was discovered in the late 1990s in Indonesia. Lobe-finned fish, like the modern coelacanths and lungfish, are the ancestors of the tetrapods (amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals).
This tank features a cartoon drawing of a blue, spotted coelacanth fish, with the funny, parody phrase "We put our fins up like the coelacanth hold us." A great gift for a lover of uncommon animals!

I'm average frame and I'm glad I didn't get a small. Medium is perfect. The cotton is very soft like I was hoping it would be. The material is on the the side, so the artwork is a bit thin as well. Looks more transparent than I expected. But I'm ok with the faded look of it.
