The Dedication (Medieval Knight and His Lady) Canvas Print
This design features a painting by the English artist Edmund Blair Leighton (1852–1922). It depicts a medieval knight in full armor kneeling down in front of a church's altar as he offers his sword as a symbol of piety and penitence. His wife, the noble lady, is kneeling beside him and holding her hands together in prayer to God. The morning sun can be seen through an archway in the background. There is another knight or warrior or equerry holding the reins of a horse, waiting for the gentleman and his lady. The knight is wearing chainmail and a tunic with a red Christian cross, a symbol of the English Kingdom. His wife is wearing an expensive green gown made of fine fabric. She also has a veil on her head to show her respect for her religion. The original art was painted in 1908.

Very impressive product! The canvas is sturdily made. It features a saw tooth hanger on the back, making it easy to "try out" the canvas in several rooms until I found the best location. The print was really like something that would be purchased in a gallery. One of the panels needed to be re-stretched but that’s easy. I did 4 panels which when hung together made one huge image. I then enhanced the canvas by painting over some areas.. and then used permanent markers. The result was a personalized artistic piece for a clients early modern home. This piece far exceeded my expectations. Will definitely go back and use this idea again. Exact representation of image sent. Be aware that photos have pixelated flaws... if these little dark specks aren’t cleaned up using common computer techniques, they will be represented in the final canvas print..... so go over the image and make sure all flaws have been erased prior to submitting it. The reproduction is exactly what you send.
