The Doughnut with the Doctorate Pouf - SRF

How has this doughnut achieved the doctorate? Well ... let me tell you, and then, I'll say goodnight at 3 AM! Also, tomorrow, I'll take 15 minutes to do what I initially intended here which was to do another simple cute doughnut pouf (which by the way, this is placed in my Home - Business Category). After staying up all night the night before without attempting to go to bed as I am in pain digging through what little junk the water restoration people did not throw out (as they did our antiques, antique pool table, all the valuables - from the flooded rooms > GONE) in what was our family home that flooded while my Mother was 12 hours away with me and was too ill to travel - right after my Father passed away.... so after no sleep, I thought I'd get to bed before 4 in the morn tonight; however ... I had 3 poufs in mind I wanted to do (and matching lamps, etc.). Zazzle is my escape for which I am very thankful as it has been my constant for many years now. I love it! Anyway .... Instead of doing what I intended, as I do, I searched every image on a dozen sites for a couple hours to find the exact doughnut I wanted (and wish I had the real thing in front of me right now as I'd eat the box). I found it, paid the $50.00 Extended License Fee to legally use it here on my products for you which should have been the end of it; yet, I saw an image for strawberry glaze. You'd think I was baking the doughnut (I wish - no kitchen for 6 months due to the flood), so I searched several sites to see if could find THAT image with a lower fee for the extended license (Googling designer's names, etc.). I finally foolishly tossed more money out (but always do buy the license which is only right, fair to the designer, and required legally) paid a $50.00 fee again ... and THEN, I saw dripping chocolate - same scenario - same fees. As I started to put it all together, I wanted little strawberries on top .... same process ... 'worked on it another few hours .... and here we go again, I thought the bottom of a plate on the bottom of the pouf would be nice .... same scenario, fees, etc. It certainly doesn't look like a run of the mill boxed doughnut now. In fact, after all the licenses, it should be in the Christmas Catalogue of "you know the store" - sitting next to the yearly featured gift of the custom airplane / whatever ... : ) WHAT WAS I THINKING ... : ) You have a treat here though. So, hours later, it comes with this story ... and why the doctorate? Someone very creative once complimented a dusty rose sweater I was wearing and asked what I would call the color; yet, before I answered, he said it looked like a pretty soft pink - more like "watermelon with a doctorate". So here you have it: The Doughnut with the Doctorate, and it was well earned. I do hope it is enjoyed in a special home or business >>>> : ) More are on the way.
