This hand-colored etching with aquatint is believed to have been created around 1798 or 1799. Perfect present for a dad with a passion for aviation history. Excellent color block/ contrast. I intend to wear this tie with a black suit. I really like the red dot inside the black are near the top of the knot because it will be two hues against the white dress shirt. It is a very nice tie.
