The Holly and the Ivy SHIRT christmas fairy angel
"The Holly and the Ivy" is the name of a Christmas carol we always sang at my grandparents' house when we were little girls (from the Cornish "Sans Day Carol"). Both ivy and holly of course are often associated with the holiday season since they are evergreen plants often used for decoration. In this case, the two have taken the form of fairy-like angels, sitting in a winter forest. Cute!! My own original acrylic painting. ****REMEMBER - you can make this shirt for men/women/children/babies or make it long sleeved or a Tshirt or a tanktop - and even change the colour! All you need to do is click the "Select a Different Shirt Style" link by the sizing options - customize it just how you like it! It does look best either as shown, or in the dark solid colours, or in black, or in white. I love this artist. Their designs are cute and whimsical. But I ordered too large a size. I don’t mind as I’m going to use it to sleep in. I’ll probably order this in a short sleeve style to wear in the summer. My family loves my chocolate chip cookies so this design has significance for me. Bright and bold. It was off center but that was my fault as I edited the design. Should have left it alone but was just trying out the editing feature. Great editing system to play around with and change things up a little bit
