This is a purchased image (with permission) of a restored portrait of The Immaculate Heart of Mary by the artist Zabateri. It is a beautiful companion piece to The Sacred Heart of Jesus. I found it while on an extensive search for images that touched my own heart of The Madonna and Child. Madonna and Child. I started simply looking for a pretty image of The Madonna and Child, and I found myself searching for days through hundreds of beautiful images, but looking for just the right ones with a sense of tenderness conveying to me the true meaning. I found the first I purchased as the image of Mary simply reached out and touched my heart in a way that gave me a sense of solace when truly needed as it was my first Christmas without either parent which is the worst part by far; however, there's so much more, I wouldn't begin to interject it all here.
