The Jerusalem Cross - ver 1 - Opus Dei - Black Watch

I finally had some time to update My Jerusalem Cross. I have added a few more design adaptations which I think make this special piece a bit more stunning/beautiful… The Jerusalem Cross, one of my favorite designs and I am sure it will be one of your favorites too.. The Jerusalem Cross is also know as: The Crusaders' Cross and as The Heraldic Cross.. The 5 Pointed Star or 5 Piece Cross, is supposed to symbolize the 5 wounds that Christ suffered at His Crucifixion. The symbol is an adaptation of coat of arms that Godfrey of Bouillon wore during the 1st Crusade and was later adapted and worn by the Knights in the Kingdom of Jerusalem for a period of almost 200 years. The Words Opus Dei are Latin and translated into English, the phrase means "Work Of God"
