The Juggler (by Antonio Donghi) Ceramic Tile
This design features a painting by the Italian artist Antonio Donghi (1897–1963). It shows a traditional juggler wearing a harlequin's motley costume that features black diamonds in a tessellated pattern with red and yellow triangles. The juggler is resting in his private tent at the circus. He seems somewhat sad or just tired and weary. The balls that he uses to juggle are lying on the floor in front of him. His hands appear to be very big and they are resting on his knees. The original artwork was painted by Antonio Donghi in 1926.
