But truth, once spurned, becomes a blade— A whisper that will not end. The lampstand lies overturned in ash, Its oil unpoured, its flame denied. The altar groans with shattered vows, Where angels once did cry. The raven calls from broken stone, Its cry a dirge for what was lost. Instruction scorned, the sacred torn— And heaven bears the cost. A tear unshed hangs in the air, Suspended by divine restraint. For mercy waits where judgment stirs, And silence wears a saint. O soul that walks with backward glance, The scroll still glows beneath your feet. Return, before the ink runs dry— Before the Word you cast repeats.
