Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família) is a church in Barcelona, built on private donations since 1882, the famous project of Antoni Gaudi. One of the most famous long-term buildings in the world.
The first project was designed by the architect Francisco del Villar, whose place at the end of 1883 was invited to A. Gaudi, significantly changed the original draft. According to the decision of the initiators of the construction of the temple, the financing of works should be carried out exclusively at the expense of the donations of parishioners, which is one of the reasons for such a long construction.
