From the 1980s into the 1990s, three restaurants anchored Oakland’s queer scene along Telegraph Avenue: Bella Napoli at 2330, Town & Country at 2022, and Cabal’s Reef at 2272. Together they became known as the Telegraph Three, gathering places where East Bay LGBTQ life could grow and connect. This shirt, inspired by an illustration printed in the Bay Area Reporter, pays tribute to those legendary spaces and their place in local history.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
