"The Twelve Cats of Christmas" holiday gift and card collection by Jane Denny was inspired by the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" wherein on each of the 12 days before Christmas, "my true love sent to me..." some wild animal or unruly mob. Our designs replace each day's gift with cats... much preferable, we think, to the cacophony of noisy birds and mayhem in the song. I mean, if he was really my true love, shouldn't he have sent cats? And since cats do things their own way, the festivities are not what you expect! In our holiday t-shirt design, all twelve days are represented: 12 Cats Drumming, 11 Cats Piping, 10 Cats a-Leaping, 9 Kitties Prancing, 8 Manx a-Milking, 7 Swats, No Swimming, 6 Cats a-Laying, 5 Golden Cats, 4 Calling Cats, 3 French Cats, 2 Tortoise Shell Cats, And a Persian in a Pear Tree.
Also a book available on Amazon.com, The Twelve Cats of Christmas won the International Cat Writers' Association 2012 Certificate of Excellence, Muse Medallion, and the Kuykendall Image Award for outstanding image series featuring cats. A portion of every sale goes to help homeless and rescued cats in NYC.

I figured since I got the cheapest of the shirt that it wouldn't hold up to the environment I was going to be in when wearing it. The shirt was soft and the fabric not too thin or too thick and more durable then I would have expected. The colors were good...I would have thought that they would have been a little more vibrant...the colors probably had more to do with the colors of the design then anything but over all I kind of thought it was cool that the printing on the shirt was basically "inked" into the fabric instead of the usage of fabric paint which usually can get warped and crinkled.
