Those Stars Charm

Annabelle: You see these stars, Claire? Like diamonds. Like broken glass. In AN APPEAL TO THE WOMAN OF THE HOUSE, Annabelle is a young white Freedom Rider who finds herself and three of her fellow riders lost in the backwoods of northern Alabama. She is an admittedly privileged young woman from Virginia whose boundless energy and determination make it possible for her to imagine a better world - with her at the helm. She will keep up the spirits of her friends, even when they can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. "Those stars, like diamonds.
