Three Hares Rabbit Four Seasons Colorful Whimsical Mug
A beautiful and intricate design, originally hand painted and glazed onto ceramic tile, depicts a traditional motif - three rabbits or hares sharing just three ears, and chasing each other in a circle. Each of the four corners has flowers and vegetation found in one of the four seasons - spring, summer, fall, winter. The natural colors include shades of green, gold and gray. A gold - hued border encircles the rabbits. A traditional folk verse is written in the border - "Rabbits three and ears as few - yet each rabbit has its two." The ancient chasing hare symbol, found throughout Europe, Britain and the Middle East, is thought to symbolize rebirth and unity. Whimsical, unique, original tile art and design by Tuzi Williams.

Experiencing this design firsthand was a pleasure. It's charming, cute, and captivating. The handle is sufficiently wide, ensuring it's very comfortable to grip. I appreciate that it's printed in the US, and I'm hopeful that in the future the mugs too. The print and colors are bright and vivid. The specific style of the mug, with the inside and handle colors, adds something extra to the design, making it elegant and modern in style.
