Three Sisters of Alchemy Button

Latin emblem that can be paraphrased "As Above, So Below", or literally: "What are the in the gods above, are present in the lower". The three sisters of alchemy hold the symbols of fire and water which combine to make the grand unity or balance, symbolized by the six-pointed star of David. Quae sunt in superis, haec inferioribus insunt/ Quod monstrat cœlum, id terra frequenter habet./ Ignis, Agua et fluitans duo sunt contraria: felix/ Talia si jungis, fit tibi scire satis! = Which things are in the gods, you are present in the lower parts of these/ This is shown by the sky, the earth frequently that it has./ The fire, the two Waters and floating to the contrary: happy/ If such a one that giveth her, are you know enough!
