According to "Mimon Kaisho" written by Nuidonosuke GOTO of Gofukudokoro (the Imperial Household Agency) in 1818-30, three generations of Ieyasu, Hidetada, and Iemitsu were Sanjusan, Ietsuna and Nijusandui, Tsunayoshi were Nijusandui and Nijusandui, Ienobu and Sanjusen, Yoshimune and Iesui and Ieharu were both Jusandui (the original book lacked Ietsugu). From around this time, the crest of the Shogun family was also decided as Jusandui, and after that, all of them were Jusandui. Therefore, if more than 10 books of family crest and family crest were examined, including Monten and Heian Monkan, all 13-zui Tokugawa Aoi were published.
