A rare photograph of Tower Bridge whilst raised. On 3rd June 2012 Tower Bridge was raised during a river pageant to celebrate HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The pageant involved around 1,000 boats including man-powered craft, veterans of Dunkirk, yachts and leisure craft, the river cruisers and narrow boats. Some of the powered craft taking part in the pageant can be seen passing under the bridge and continuing down river where they were reviewed by Her Majesty at the end of the pageant. A souvenir not to be missed.
