Trader Vic's was a mainstay in the Palmer House Hotel before it was unceremoniously booted when the hotel changed hands. Vic's found its new home in 2009 at the base of the 52-story Newberry Plaza at 1030 N. State Street in Chicago's Gold Coast, replacing the jungle-themed Grotto with their signature Polynesian/Tiki bar decor. The Franchiser closed Trader Vic's in the summer of 2011.

I ordered about 20 shirts for a reunion. They arrived today on time but one the package was damaged. The shirts look great but the packaging was busted open and had been taped up. The shirts that were in the torn side were really dirty and I’m not sure it will wash out as it looks like greasy dirt. The printing looked great.
