Ascalon Studios' post-retro take on the Tree of Life served as a watercolor study for a large-scale mural recently executed in glass mosaics. Everyone you send 'em to will surely ponder their own interconnectivity with the universe. 100% of Ascalon Studios' royalties generated by the sale of these cards will be donated to Team for Kids, the non-profit initiative of New York Road Runners (NYRR), the organization that hosts the ING New York City Marathon. The funds raised through Team for Kids are used to provide free or low-cost school- and community-center based nutritional health and fitness programs to children in poverty-stricken neighborhoods throughout the U.S.

I was searching high and low for an invitation that went with a fire theme (account my mom wants 70 real live burning candles on the cake) surprise birthday party. I found these and couldn’t buy them quick enough! They far exceeded my expectations! One word of caution is that they default to matte so if you want glossy finish you have to manually select it. I only changed where the 2 clip art pics were located to make space for the text. I even used the default font for the design. Comes with nice white envelopes that don’t need the upgrade.
