Tricycle Motor Car from 1917 Compact Mirror
Image from 1917 showing a lady driving a tricycle motor car. These cars were common back in the early 1900s. The car was low priced and could be made into a touring car, limousine, roadster, or sedan. Although the motor is entirely exposed, it is almost silent. It is without an ordinary carburetor, having a device which vaporizes and carries the gasoline vapor through the air into the motor directly above it. The car can be driven one hundred miles on one gallon of gasoline.
