Some of the tree's tropical leaves are in sunlight, in bright yellow greens. Others are in shadow, in shades of blue from aqua to deep teal, with purple highlights. The background is almost black. The design has an overall fabric texture.

The mat is thin so, I glued the plastic sheet used in the packing that has the same color theme and brand name on the back, to the underside of the mat. I love the style, colors and design. Easy th clean. It takes me back to when I was a little girl. So adorable.....lines, colors and design are great. The mat should have been thicker though. It's like paper thin.
