True Towel Tales No. 2 of 6 Jigsaw Puzzle

20” x 16” metal print with a vintage image of an ad run by Cannon Mills for their Cannon towels. This ad shows five airmen in a cabin in Alaska. One of the airmen is in the act of throwing a bucket of cold water on an airman with only a towel around him. Cannon Towels ran these ads in WWII which were based on actual letters they received from the boys in the field about their products. The art was done by prolific artist James Bingham which shows off his excellent skills. The art is as such to tantalize the ad's audience, women, so what's better then a bunch of scantily clad soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen for all those lonely ladies back home?
