Picturesque turret on Boldt Castle, seen against the sky on a gorgeous summer day in the Thousand Islands. George Boldt abandoned construction of this monument of his love for his wife Louise when she died suddenly in January, 1904. Abandoned for nearly three-quarters of a century, Boldt Castle is now being lovingly restored by the Thousand Island Bridge Authority. Photo taken July, 2003.
