Tuskegee Airmen History In spite of adversity and limited opportunities,
African Americans have played a significant role in U.S. military history
over the past 300 years. They were denied military leadership roles and
skilled training because many believed they lacked qualifications for
combat duty. Before 1940, African-Americans were barred from flying for
the U.S. military. Civil rights organizations and the black press exerted
pressure that resulted in the formation of an all African-American pursuit
squadron based in Tuskegee, Alabama, in 1941.
They became known as the Tuskegee Airmen.----TRANSFER DESIGN TO ANOTHER PRODUCT.

I had a favorite photo that was take during a recent trip to France done for gifting purposes as an 8x10 and the results were outstanding. While the photo looks professional, it has even more meaniing to us, since it's a treasured memory that we ourselves caputred Since this one turned out so great, I immediately ordered additional photo plaques in various sizes to share other memorable moments. Thank you Zazzle for offering this amazing item. While I opted to not indlude printing on this particular plaque, however, I did include printing on the other placques that I ordered and the printing came out as I requested in my plaque design.
