Two Snow People Watercolor Magic Winter Scene Adult Apron

“There seems a magic in the very name of Christmas”. Charles Dickens, Sketches by Boz (1836) This quote lit my imagination for a Christmas scene where we can imagine the magic bringing life to Mr and Mrs. Snowman. I painted them standing close together (if ‘standing’ is the proper word for a ball of snow resting on the ground). Dressed well with black top hat on him and red cap on her they both have colored scarves of green and red for the season. They have the company of a bird who just emerged from the pole mounted birdhouse. In the background we see a green fir Christmas tree having a large gold star at the top. "Not a word needs saying, just a moment together in the spirit of the season." Blue sky and generous snow on the ground make for a very nice day for these two snow people.
