Many years ago, decades even, medical researchers have said we'd find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. Yet, greedy pharmaceuticals make billions in profit off of this chronic autoimmune disease. Why would they allow anyone to continue their research even when it's promising or suitable enough to be a practical cure (aka artificial pancreas, but still insulin dependent). We want to turn type one into type none. Let there be no more new diagnosis especially in youth under the age of 12. Let there be a cure for all of our children! Insulin is NOT a cure.
