Ukrainian Monarch Tile

The wings, body, and antennae of a monarch butterfly are decorated with patterns found in pysanka, a traditional Ukrainian method for decorating Easter eggs. These include geometric patterns, plant motifs, and designs based on man-made agricultural objects in shades of red, orange, green, blue, dark gray, and white. This tile can be framed to create a trivet or placed inside a wooden gift box lid. Tiles without a frame will also fit inside the large gift box to create a matching set.
