When I'm feeling really awful about myself, my ears get hot. Red hot, in fact. Does this happen to anyone else? I don't often feel horribly depressed anymore, but I used to feel this way a lot as a teenager and young adult. I despised myself. In retrospect, I am really glad that I survived that experience, as it added a lot of dimension to my personality. Dimension and really, really disturbing drawings.
