Unicorn Tapestries Lady Legend Medieval Table Lamp
The Lady and The unicorn, a medieval tapestry from around 1500, is one of a set of French tapestries, considered great works of art from the Middle Ages. This Lady and the Unicorn tapestry is a stunning image of a lady standing in a tent, with a unicorn on one side of her, and a lion on the other. There's a little white dog sitting on a bench next to her, and a handmaiden on the other side. The tapestry's background is a red field of flowers and animals, including dogs, rabbits, and birds. The original medieval Unicorn tapestry was quite damaged and lost much of its original bright coloring and quality. While we were able to restore some of the Unicorn tapestry's original red and blue medieval coloring, please be aware that there are still imperfections in the image. Also, please be aware that this Medieval Tapestry product looks like a tapestry, but it is just based on the image. However, ours is a unique version of this medieval tapestry, as we have extended it and enhanced it to bring out its original beauty. I have purchased other similar lamps. I use them as extra light for guest's. They are inexpensive, easy to assemble and good height for reading. I like that there are many pre-made shades to choose from and that, like this one, you can use your own art.
The only "con" is that the shade does heat, even with specified bulb. I would not leave it on all night. Printing is great. My granddaughter will be happy to see her artwork on her bedside table. The art does not cover the entire shade, but the background that shows can be matched easily.
