The otter box case that I purchased for iPhone XS Max is good, however it is not very tight/Sealed around the volume buttons and on/off switch on the other side of the phone. I can easily pull the case away from the phone in that area which will allow dust etc. to enter.
The case that I had prior to this one was a better fit which was I purchased at the Apple store. I do like the Union Jack design and case for the XS Max but I am concerned with the lack of a tight fit around those specific areas. Has anyone complained about this? Can this problem be corrected?

I am concerned about keeping the dust etc. away from the phone. Loose coverage around the buttons on both sides of the phone. I thought that the case would protect the phone.
