University of Greenland by Ozborne Whilliamsson Postcard

This is the old Headquarters. The University of course has other buildings. The university has several institutes and several departments. This series of pictures from polar night in the Capital of Greenland. We might all know that the polar night occurs when the night lasts for more than 24 hours. This occurs only inside the polar circle. The opposite phenomenon, the polar day, or midnight sun, occurs when the sun stays above the horizon for more than 24 hours. I was surprised that the polar night were much lighter than expected. When IT (Information Technology) produces the painting I need an alias to preserve my "colorful simplicity" brand, which always will be connected to my Danish name of birth - Asbjorn Lonvig. Asbjorn Lonvig is not quite correct, because the spelling in Danish is Asbjørn Lønvig. There is no Ø/ø in any other languages, except in Faroese, Norwegian and Southern Sami. The variant Ö/ö is used in Sweden, Rembrandt's students were able to paint like Rembrandt himself. Causing a lot of trouble. Which paintings were painted by the master? Inspired by Rembrandt I have hired a "student" - my IT system. A draft is prepared in Photo Shop, Paint Shop Pro or similar. Then the draft is sent to the Digital Painting software, in my case it is Corel Painter Essentials 4 or Corel Painter 11. I define parameters (which demands great knowledge). And the painting starts. You can supervise the painting on your screen. Even to a trained System Engineer like me this is amazing. It is fast and it takes about 1 minut. If you are not satisfied with the result you can adjust parameters and start the painting process all over. My "student" is called: Ozborne-Whilliamsson, my alias name. The software is comprehensive and you can work in several styles. The digital paintings will be made in several styles other than colorful simplicity. Osborne is the English for Asbjorn, William is the English for Vilhelm, which was my father's name. To make it unique, I have seen William spelled with an h after the W. Then Whilliamson. The double s is a Scandinavian (Swedish) way of spelling son. Then Whilliamsson. Then Ozborne Whilliamsson, is derived from Asbjorn Lonvig, son of Vilhelm.. The z in Ozborne is inspired by Ozzy, you know the "Godfather of Heavy Metal" Ozzy Osborne. Ozzy's surname is the same as my alias Christian name. Ozzy is an artist, so am I. Ozzy oppose standards of behavior, so do I. There is a connection. The psychologist C.G.Jung would argue that this is not coincidental. It is due to a "Collective Unconscious" that steers many aspects of our lives. Now. When you search on "Ozborne Whilliamsson" you will only have hits belonging to my alias, because there is no such name on the internet.
