    This is a custom painting acrylic on canvas. I drove up Haleakala Hwy on Nov 1st. I found a place to park on the side of the highway and sat in the cow pasture and painted the view. It was very peaceful with the soft breeze, mooing cows, and occasional tourist driving up or down the hill. In reality there are no Jacarandas at that elevation so, I had to make one up. That's the beauty of art...the creation... a real place with imaginary aspects.
