An akita’s smile spreads happiness to everyone and this Japanese akita is my sweet girl named Asia. I saw her laying on her back with this wonderful grin on her face and I photographed her, then, from the photo I painted this portrait in watercolour. I then computer enhanced it with various effects, sepia, greyscale, antiqued and various other effects to add to the original photo of the painting. The original customizable dog smiling slogan "smile and the world smile with you" will brighten anyones day. I think it makes a great t-shirt for anyone. The cute dog picture makes everyone smile who views it and for those love this happy doggy picture but aren’t acquainted with the Japanese akita breed, in brief they’re large dogs, big gentle giants who require lots of consistent training and anyone who wants to be owned by an akita needs to study the breed thoroughly. The best place to go first is an akita rescue website where you’ll find lots of information on these amazing canines, my akita girl comes from akita rescue.
