Vincent Van Gogh Flowering Plum Tree After Hiroshige Japonaiserie Fine Art Vincent Willem van Gogh was a Post-Impressionist painter whose work had a far-reaching influence on 20th-century art. Van Gogh collected hundreds of Japanese prints and likened the works of the great Japanese artists, like Hiroshige, to those of Rembrandt, Hals, and Vermeer.
