Words by artist Vincent van Gogh accompany House of Hope and Striving, an original handmade, handcut collage by artist Anita Barnard. It explores the theme of Vincent Van Gogh's yellow house in Arles, France and the great hopes he had of creating an artists' community there. It is comprised of found and created papers, text, images, ink and acrylic paint. Two examples of Vincent's handwriting from his correspondences appear in the piece.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
