Vase with Three Sunflowers (1888) Vincent Van Gogh Pen

This elegant Van Gogh "Vase with Three Sunflowers" (1888) fine-tip blue/black ink ballpoint pen features the gorgeous golden yellow sunflowers against the pale blue background. The leftmost flower is as large as the pot, which is a beautiful example of the blossoms' sheer grandeur. He painted the flowers against a vibrant turquoise background instead of the somber backgrounds that generally accompanied his early still life works from Paris.
