This beautiful black and white botanical artwork is of the carnivorous plant Dionaea muscipula. Also called the Venus Flytrap, it is the only member of the genus Dionaea in the sundew family, the Droseraceae. Native to coastal North Carolina and northern South Carolina, it grows in open bogs. The vintage scientific illustration is by Isaac Sprague, from The Genera of the Plants of the United States, author Asa Gray, published 1849.

Premium Round, Large (2.125")
These are a durable metal and the colors are vibrant. One of the clasp came broken but received a new one quickly. Customer service was responsive and quick to resolve the issue. They are bigger than I thought but still work for my wedding. I am satisfied with the print quality and surprised at how vibrant the colors are.
