Darlington, Runk & Co. was an Philadelphia importer of silks, brocades, other fine fabrics, passementerie, and other ladies accessories from about 1870 to 1900. The image here, from my personal collection, is one of the more attractive Darlington Runk trade cards. (There are a number of them to be found on the ‘net.) This one looks super-neato on all kinds of EVERYTHING. Note that my store has oodles more jigsaw puzzles with oodles more Victorian trade card images. Wanna see more old? The puzzle was ok. The pieces were really small and they don’t include a blueprint to use. Which would be fine if the photo on the front of the box was larger, but it’s also very small and not really useful for details. I don’t think I’d buy another one from Zazzle until they start providing at least some sort of reference photo. .
