Self-Portrait with a Straw Hat (Autoportrait au chapeau de paille), painted in 1887 in oil on canvas by Dutch Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh in Paris. Van Gogh painted more than twenty self-portraits during his Paris years, using himself as a readily available model while he developed his skills in figure painting. This work shows his growing awareness of Neo-Impressionist color theory and broken brushwork. It was painted on the reverse of an earlier peasant study, a practical reuse of canvas that also links his bright Paris experimentation with the darker work of his Dutch period.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
