Vintage - A Couple's Embrace,

Vintage artwork by Tito Corbella depicts a 1920s era couple in love sitting on a garden bench embracing each other. She has her head down on his shoulder and her arms wrapped around his shoulders while he rests his head against her hair. This could be a couple who have had a spat and are making up. It could be a couple who are reluctantly breaking up and giving each other one last lingering embrace. Or it could be a couple madly in love who are having a hard time letting go of each other when they have to part. You decide! The artist, Tito Corbella (1885-1966), was born in Pontremoli, Italy and died in Rome, Italy. He signed his artwork as “T. Corbella” and was most famous for his Italian art deco style.
