Vintage illustration Renaissance era astronomy and antique celestial image featuring a star chart, a planisphere with a band of symbols depicting the signs of the Zodiac circling the globe, spheres in the sky with the Earth at the center, created in 1660 by Andreas Cellarius. The Celestial Sphere, from The Celestial Atlas, or the Harmony of the Universe. Andreas Cellarius (c.1596-1665) was a Dutch-German cartographer, best known for his Harmonia Macrocosmica of 1660, a major star atlas, published by Johannes Janssonius in Amsterdam.
