Vintage Bookplate The Reader Painting Fragonard

A vintage bookplate based on a painting representing a beautiful and elegant 18th century young girl reading a book. The painting is inside a dark gray, almost black circular frame with the text in golden caps: above it is the message "This book belongs to" and under it is the name. The girl wears an elegant yellow dress in late 18th century fashion, with white collar and purple ribbon; she also has a purple ribbon in her hair. Based on a 18th century painting by the French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732–1806), "The Reader" (in French it's called "Jeune fille lisant", that is "Young girl reading") painted in the 1770s, now in the public domain.
